1992 Gibson Granada - from Greg Rich's custom shop (excellent curly maple), gold plated, in very good condition, lightly used.  Has "Scott Anderson" engraved at 12th fret block inlay.   Used for recording Endless Highway CD.  This is a great banjo.  w/ HSC
$3500 + shipping and insurance.

Standard 5/8" Grover type 5 string banjo bridge   $5  (unused)

Stockwell moon bridge for 5 string banjo   $15  (briefly used)
Why compensated bridges? According to common sense, if a string is a set length and the string is fretted in the middle, it should be exactly half the number of vibrations. If all strings are the same length, then the middle should be half for all. Well, the math just doesn't add up here. The shorter the strings become, the worse the problem is. To help correct this problem, we offset the problem string, therefore making them longer.
